Talk about backlog. Ok, I'm not going to even try to run through eveything that's happened up 'till now. All I can say is, after a 25-31 victory over Tam this last wednesday, the guys team is looking at going 8-1 and finishing second for the season. Only MC stands in our way, and that's like a bug in the way of Shwan's truck. As to this site, the Justin Sienna pictures are up, and the Tennessee Valley race against Redwood and Branson should be up some time in the next decade.

Well, a lot of interesting things going on lately. 1.) Girls are being coached under Bruce Phinney, so we're all one big team now! 2.) Photos from Stanford are finally up, as well as results through the first MCAL meet. Recap: Guys went for an easy two wins, while the girls just missed both S.R and Novato. This week, it was Justin Sienna, an hour north of here. We all took the bus up, quiet and resting, and took the bus back, loud and annoying. The guys got three wins, just as easy as last week, going 5-0 for the season so far! The girls got things going with a 2-1 finish, raising them to 2-3 for the season. Bruce has a winning record coaching the girls so far! Great race to everyone, special shout outs to Hifumi, Sos (who took care of any rumors of that Drake guy being any good), Miles and Alex, who despite taking a wrong turn had a great time in the race. Photos from the race will be up within the next day, and the results should be too. On a last word, I want to know the names of anyone running, because I know I've missed some people. James and I want to post a "profile" for each person. There is not a set idea yet, though if you look under my name, you'll see the kind of thing I'm thinking about.

yo, to all the boys out there! I want yo to reeead some o this, man, you got it? arRIGHT then. (there's a tv station in Philadelphia that is just black guys talking like that on different party-type shows.) Why is this posted? Because James found it, and some of the cross country guys had fun reading it, so for everyone else who hadn't seen the actual thing, you can read it now. Oh, and here's an even funnier one.

Hey there, been no updates for a while. Quick summary, our top 5 guys ran great at Stanford, including a 17th place finish by Sos. We were pretty much right where we wanted to be compared to teams we were looking to measure up against. There are a few pictures from it, but they're not up yet; however the results are. I'll try to get the pics up late monday if I can, sorry about the delay.
In more important news, the first MCAL league took place this friday! I wasn't there for it, but our guys handily dismantled any weak protest by Novato and S.R., Brandon Sos with a close finish, I hear, over Roedel. The pictures, thanks to Shwan's magnificent new camera (double the pics now, guys!) are up and running, and results will be soon.

On to Cow Chip! The highlight of which is the cow pie tossing contest, which Bruce took place in, though with an admittedly weak throw. There's a few pictures of the varsity race, thanks to Miles, but in all its a smaller group of pictures this week. Again its looking more and more to be an exciting race against Tam, as our times are so close.

Viking invitational!!! The senior boys came in third overall as a team, with Sos leading the way with a 5th place finish. Results and pictures are up. There are a lot of pictures by the way. In the results, I highlighted most of the TL and Tam runners in red. I was also looking at the top 5 from each team and comparing them, and this is how we would have stacked up against each other. 1. Sos (10:46) 2. Gehbrimichael (11:18) 3. Gibbs (11:20) 4. Haroff (11:29) 5. James (11:39) 6. Henry (11:44) 7. Nick (11:49) 8. Szabo (11:49) 9. Sherry (12:00) 10. Brown (12:02) If you take this spots and add them up, we win 27 to 28. Yikes. True, its only a two mile course and I think that over a longer course, we'll close in on their top guys, and we also were missing Larson and Shwan, who may make a big difference in terms of those last spots with the Tam guys, but we need to speed up guys.
